On an original idea of the curator Alexandra FAU who imagined combinations of different generations. Of artists. It was inspired by the exhibition “Contemporary French painting, combinations of history” in 2012 at the museum of contemporary art of Perm in Russia. Intergenerational pairs are thus recreated, with the only common point being the medium: painting. Thus express worlds of a great diversity so much by the practice, the reflections and the positions. Which are however echoes. Le spectateur, caught by the judicious choice of works and audacious duets, takes a real pleasure in this enchanted parenthesis.
